Mouthwatering Spinach Lasagna– A Must-Try!

Spinach Lasagna

One of the most popular dishes in the nation is lasagna as layers of mouthwatering goodness hits the spot. While it’s popular ingredients include meat and cottage cheese, many people like to try them in different varieties. Others like to make them vegetarian style, and surprisingly, they continue to stay delicious on their own.

So, we’ve come up with our take of spinach-style lasagna for those who wants a bit of pasta in their life! Of course, this kosher food will not disappoint as we’ve perfected it beforehand! Try it out for one of your family gatherings, and we promise that it will not disappoint!

What You’ll Need:

2 cloves garlic

5 oz. fresh spinach

1/2 teaspoon basil

1 lb. ricotta cheese

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon oregano

2 cups marinara sauce

1 egg

12 raw lasagna noodles

1/2 cup water

2 cups shredded cheese

Directions:

  • Saute the spinach with the crushed garlic until it’s wilted.
  • Combine the oregano, salt, egg, wilted spinach, and basil.
  • In a large pan, place three lasagna noodles to the bottom. Cover it with 1/2 cup of marinara sauce. After that, spoon 1/3 of the ricotta combination and sprinkle about 1/2 cup of shredded cheese.
  • Repeat this process for the subsequent layers of the lasagna and cover it with 1/2 cup of sauce and cheese.
  • On the edges of the lasagna, cover it with 1/2 cup water. Cover the pan with a tin foil and bake at about 400 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately one hour. Uncover the pan and leave it in the oven for an extra 15 minutes. After that, let the lasagna sit for about 10-15 to cool.
  • Serve and enjoy your meal!
