Delicious Cholent | Kosher Recipe

We try and make it easy for you  to maintain a kosher diet, and also eat deliciously. So, we’ve come up with this amazing cholent recipe for you to show our appreciation to you!

What You’ll Need:

2 lbs meat

¾ cup kidney beans

⅓ lima beans

¾ cup pinto beans

6 cloves garlic

¾ cup navy beans

¼ cup cilantro

⅓ barley

2 carrots (chopped)

3 small onions (cubed)

Salt (to taste)

Pepper (to taste)

¼ cup ketchup

8 cubed potatoes

Directions:

The beans will have to be soaked overnight. After that, drain the water and discard of any impurities. Boil water, and place the beans in the pot. Cover the beans with a least one inch of water. Add meat.

In a separate bowl, combine all the other remaining ingredients together (with the exception of the potato). Mix them up, and put into a food processor. Add this mixture into the pot as they boil. Let this simmer for about 3 hours in low heat. After that, add the potatoes and let it simmer for another hour. Serve, and enjoy!
